We're Monday Off With Bluesy, and our name reflects our desire to set aside hectic Mondays for a more bluesy, relaxed everyday life. We're all about creating comfortable, sensual sounds that bring warmth to your week.

What inspires your music?

We find inspiration in everything around us - gorgeous sunsets, cool night breezes, cherished memories, it all finds its way into our music. But the real magic happens in our cozy underground studio in Seoul. It's like our creative hub where we all gather, listen to music together, and weave our ideas into melodies. And here's a little secret: some of our best ideas pop up during showers! You might catch us recording voice memos with wet hands.

Who are some of your influences?

We draw inspiration from Korean bands like 92914 and Wave to Earth. Internationally, we're totally vibing with HYBS, this awesome Thai band. Good music knows no borders.

What are some of your favorite memories from your career?

A standout moment was our performance at Rolling Hall located in Seoul, earlier this year. Playing with a full band, including brass and keyboard sections, alongside our featured artists, was truly unforgettable.

Which of your projects do you love the most?

'Bokeh' holds a special place in our hearts. It's our most recent release, and each of us poured our whole heart into it. The dedication and teamwork after all the times we had make it particularly meaningful to us.

Who are some of the collaborators who helped you create your favorite works?

Even though we are mostly self-produced/recorded/mixed, we have been so lucky to work with many talented colleagues! There's quinn_(@quinnyistherxder), our first-ever featured artist, and DOJEHYUN(@jehyundo__), who blessed our tracks with beautiful choruses. Ae.L(@ael_onthecrown) shared some gorgeous melodies on keys, Seongkyoung(@seogyeo28) helped craft our sound on 'Just a Feeling', and Yejun(@yiyejun) worked magic mastering 'Bokeh'. We've also had the pleasure of working with amazing music video directors, especially Seungjun(@isjnn), who has collaborated with us on ten music videos. Nawhi with beautiful lyrics, and let's not forget the amazing artists who created our album covers! We're grateful for each and every one of them.

What are you most excited to bring to your fans next?

We've got some exciting stuff coming up! Our VERY first overseas show is happening this November, and we're dropping our debut EP in January 2025. Stay tuned!

What are your goals for this upcoming year?

2025 is gonna be HUGE for us. We're kicking off the year with our first ever EP release, which is a big deal since it's our very first one since debuting in 2020. We're also preparing more singles and aiming to hit up some festivals (contact us!). It’s gonna be an amazing year!

How can your fans and our readers best support you right now?

We'd be grateful if you could dive into our catalog and stream some of our lesser-known tracks – we've got some hidden gems in there! Following our official Instagram (@monday_off_with_bluesy) is a great way to stay in the loop with all our latest news and releases. And if you're feeling the MOWB vibe, spread the word! Share our music far and wide – it means the world to us (for real guys). Sending lots of love from Korea, Monday off with Bluesy.
