Interview: LOCS
LOCS is a 24 year old, spitfire rapper that’s based in Atlanta and hails from Columbus, OH, who’s energy and lyrical ability has no end. While carving a lane of his own amongst rappers today, LOCS brings an intensity and versatility that others can’t replicate. Receiving early looks and pushes from Spotify’s playlists like ‘Mellow Bars’ and ‘Fresh Finds’ all on his own, as well as a couple of syncs on HBOMax and the NFL, LOCS is a developing talent that's on the rise!

What are some of your favorite memories from your career so far?
Performing for the first time in LA at WFNM in West Hollywood. Being synced for tv shows and sports
entertainment. Performing on Joyner Lucas’ ADHD tour in Wisconsin.
Which of your projects is your favorite and why?
My EP Arrival is a favorite of mine because it has a lot of music i produced myself and have been holding onto for a while. I was really excited to get it out to the world and I’m happy it’s here.
Who are some of the collaborators who helped you create your favorite works?
I’ve done a lot of work myself but I’ve had the pleasure of releasing an EP with Position Music called Anomaly. That EP was produced by Wolves @akawolves. I’ve also made tracks with friends I’ve met along the way “No Mercy” with @adrianstresow and “Hand To The Sky” with @brandyn
What are you most excited to bring to your fans next?
I’m excited to bring the fun grooves back. It’s reminiscing of an older song of mine “Bright and Early”
which a lot of people love. I’m bringing that energy back for sure.
What are your goals for this upcoming year?
Keep growing as an artist and increase my creativity. I would like to write and produce more for other
artist and also do a show in my hometown.
