BORN A REBEL blends rap and progressive metal into a rare, explosive fusion that demands attention. Politically left-wing, their lyrics champion freedom of expression while denouncing fascism and authoritarianism. Their new single, "DETOX," has had significant success, reaching #3 on the Amazon charts, #13 in new hard rock and metal releases, and #23 in hard rock and metal bestsellers.
The band has performed at numerous clubs and festivals across Germany. This year, they've been hard at work on their debut studio album, set for release in 2025. Promoted by the label 7hard, BORN A REBEL plans to expand their reach next year by performing at larger venues and festivals across Germany and Europe.

We like modern metal bands like DVSR, HACKTIVIST, TERRA IV…
What are some of your favorite memories from your career?
Playing in front of a big crowd at festivals, fans telling you they have made a couple-hour trip to see you live on stage, being number 3 on the Amazon charts, radio interviews, music video shoots…
Which of your projects do you love the most?
DETOX is our favorite tune. With this single, we put the finger in the wound, criticize, and demand to free ourselves from all propaganda, whether politically, religiously, or otherwise motivated. A detoxification through education and changing our attitudes when dealing with information, media, and politics. The song addresses many different topics: soldiers from armies who do not question their missions abroad and only follow orders bluntly, school shootings with gun violence and deaths (but we don’t pass stronger gun laws), weapons smugglers for war zones who are working together with governments, fake news from hackers who work on behalf of states, terrorist attacks such as 9/11, as well as terrorist organizations, governments and politicians who are a threat to world peace. There has been a shift to the right in Germany, Europe, and America. For this, there must be a counter-public on a cultural level that encourages people to think and question things in order to classify developments and politics correctly. We’ve already had a shift to the right in Germany and Europe, the consequences of which no one wants to experience again.

What are you most excited to bring to your fans next?
The studio album is scheduled to be released in 2025. The last three releases will be included, also “DETOX”. In the run-up to the album we will release more singles. Additional playthroughs and music videos will also be released.
What are your goals for this upcoming year?
A highlight will definitely be our record release. Next year we want to concentrate on larger festivals, clubs and play abroad too. See y‘all soon!
