Mexico City singer and songwriter R O A made her explosive debut in April of 2022 with her song “Derrite” which reached 120K Spotify streams and resulted in 20K monthly listeners. Since then she has released 10 more singles spanning various genres, including urban hip hop, R&B, Trap, Reggaeton, Latin Pop, and even a Bolero.
PEPS MILFLORES
Peps Milflores is a Mexican musician and producer, founder of the cumbia band Los Mexaterrestres (who have been bringing their signature space cumbia to the hottest Mexican dance floors since 2015), and vocalist for hip hop group Black Hippo. The explosive mix of hip hop and Latin flavor creates the sound of Peps' rhymes and galactic sound. With the sole premise of making people dance, Peps presents his signature sound with synthesizers and a thumping bass.
PAVKA
PAVKA is the solo project of Pavel Acevedo Rubio, a multifaceted artist and a rising contemporary music star in Mexico. After leaving his previous band, Matilde Band, he decided to create his own music with a sound that would take on the style of his old group, but with a more introspective focus on topics such as loneliness, loss, and the issues of the modern world. His music is complex and uses a wide variety of instruments and innovative technologies to create a modern and powerful sound. Through thousands of melodies converging into a harmony full of colors, PAVKA takes you on an auditory journey through different genres, elevating you vertiginously to catharsis and then letting you rest in the sweetness and softness of a consolidated sound. ALONSO RODRÍGUEZ DE LA PARRA
Following the breakup of his project Matilde Band, Alonso Rodríguez de la Parra decided to dedicate himself to the conservation and preservation of Mexico’s seas, and founded “Mares De México” where he is creating environmental initiatives for the protection of these waters. Alonso is still one of the best bass players in Mexico, and frequently collaborates with other musicians. He believes that through music, we can change the world.
JAKO GONZALEZ GRAU
One of the best saxophonists and flautists in Mexico, jazz legend Jako Gonzalez Grau has had a legendary music career in Mexico, having been a musician for Pepe Aguilar, Alejandra Guzman, and international legends such as Jaco Pastorius, among many others. Jako met PAVKA while playing in Matilde Band, whom he continues to create music with.
