Kennedy’s new track “Better Days” embraces a different vibe than what we have heard from her in the past. The instrumental is funky and features intricate lines of energetic horns, as Kennedy’s crisp and warm vocals shine through with layered harmonies. All this energy is backed by a quick rhythmed bass, percussive acoustic guitar, and perfectly balanced drums. The lyricism paints a picture of warm weather, summer drives, and good times. This song is a reminder that our happiness is in our own hands. With a production filled with fun and groovy energy, this release is the second stepping stone building up to her upcoming album.
