Deva is a Hungarian singer-songwriter and producer who creates electronic music infused with traditional Hungarian folk elements. Her musical journey began in childhood with choir participation and folk dancing, leading her to attend a music-focused elementary school. During secondary school, she developed an interest in electronic genres like techno and ambient. Influenced by artists such as alt-J, Nils Frahm, Weval, Four Tet, Tame Impala, and composer Zoltán Kodály, Deva sought to blend the emotional depth of folk music with electronic sounds.
