What led to you becoming an artist?
As a child, I began to play the piano and guitar regularly. At some point, I felt the need to write lyrics and put my thoughts into songs. Music has always been around me, and that hasn't changed to this day. In general, I love the idea of sharing my memories and experiences in such a creative way – as music does.
What inspires your music?
In the songwriting process, I draw inspiration from a variety of things. Whether I'm sitting in the subway, comfortably drinking a cup of tea, or sitting on the shore of a lake - the ideas just bubble out of me. However, my texts are mainly influenced by stories from my own life or the experiences of friends that they share with me.
Who are some of your influences?
As the daughter of a thoroughly musical family, music was always present when I was growing up. I still remember running loudly through the living room singing songs to ABBA. Nowadays, I get most of my musical inspiration for my songs from artists like Lorde, Lana Del Rey, Tate McRae, JP Saxe, and Billie Eilish. The reason for this is that their lyrics inspire both partying as well as reflection and introspection.
What are some of your favorite memories from your career?
One of the best memories of my career so far was when I placed third in a regional contest in my hometown. That brought me to my first performance in front of 450 people, which was and still is a really big deal for me.
Another memorable moment was when I heard my debut single "shitshow" on the radio for the first time. That felt like a firework of emotions.
What have been some of the greatest challenges of your career?
At the beginning of my career, it was a big challenge for me to put together a suitable team of creative people who would actively support me and my work. In addition, it was important for me to incorporate my uniqueness into my musical productions in the best possible way. Challenges that I believe I have mastered well.
Which of your songs/eps or albums is your favorite? Why is it your favorite?
My favorite song so far is my latest release, "bubble of glass"” It's about growing up and the ups and downs that go along with it. "Bubble of glass" is from my point of view, it’s the perfect song to play on long car rides, on the way to work or at home with a glass of your favorite drink.
Who are some of the collaborators who helped you create your favorite work?
In my time as a musician, I have had the privilege of working with many very talented people. In my latest productions, I am supported by the producers Roland Maurer and Dominik Schmidt, for whose work I am very grateful. However, in the future, I would like to collaborate with as many ambitious people as possible to constantly expand my horizons as an artist.
What are you most excited to bring to your fans in the next year?
I can't wait to release new songs and perform on stage. I'm also looking forward to interacting with my fans and sharing my musical development on social media – especially on Instagram and TikTok.
What are your goals for this upcoming year?
My goal is to reach more people with my songs. I would like to achieve this mainly through performance and the expansion of my current team.
How can your fans best support you right now?
It would mean the world to me if you stream my two released songs, "shitshow" and "bubble of glass," on Spotify/Apple Music etc, and watch my two music videos on YouTube. Also, if you want more insights into my daily life and work as an upcoming singer/songwriter, make sure to follow me on Instagram and TikTok.
