What led to you becoming an artist?

I have not known the world otherwise, I have been passionate about music since I was little kid. I come from a family of artists, my mother played Veena and my brother is a singer as well. So, we always had music at home. I started making music much later but the interest has always been there.

What inspires your music?

I cannot exactly reduce it to some things. Various events, words, movies, people, past, present, all combined together brings out the music in me.

Who are some of your influences?

I think artists like birdy, Lana del Rey, ed Sheeran, Adele, the Lumineers, Jacob Collier have influenced me a huge deal. I look up to their way of making music. I follow their process, I experiment, imitate sometimes even.

What are some of your favorite memories from your career?

I cannot forget my first paid gig! I was way too nervous, and we started off with not a lot of people in the venue. But eventually the place was full and people were dancing and screaming. That was the moment I realised I wanted to do more of this.

What have been some of the greatest challenges of your career?

Funding your art is always a challenge, apart from that I'd say marketing, it's always hard to reach the right set of audience.

Which of your songs/eps or albums is your favorite? Why is it your favorite?

One of my singles "truce" is my favourite. It has my heart because the process was a rollercoaster, and along the way I learnt so many new things, faced a lot of challenges. The song is also a product of my vulnerability and hence sharing that was something new to me.

Who are some of the collaborators who helped you create your favorite work?

I love working with Varun Murali at The red music box studio. He produced most of my originals. The studio space is a vibe. Varun also mentors and inspires me to keep doing what I love.

What are you most excited to bring to your fans in the next year?

I like to experiment with my art, bringing in multiple forms of art into my music. So, I am very excited to try doing something different in the coming year.

What are your goals for this upcoming year?

I honestly want to just enjoy what I make, that has always been my goal. I'll keep making music till I have no more left in me. I also am looking forward to having more stage performances, meeting interesting people and stuff like that.

How can your fans best support you right now?

They can follow me on Instagram, keep an eye for new music or shows, stream my music, and mostly just share my music if they like it.
