Preview Huellas:

What led to you becoming an artist?

Ever since I can remember, music has been my favorite thing. I have always been interested in everything that had to do with it, especially singing. When I was 11, I stepped on a stage for the first time and ever since that day, I knew that I wanted to become an artist. Thanks to Austral Records, I am now able to make my dream come true, and I am currently creating my own music and sharing it with the world.

What inspires your music?

My music is inspired by daily occurrences, thoughts and feelings. It's either from my own personal experience, a close person or sometimes even made up stories that end up being transformed into a song!

Who are some of your influences?

My first influences were lots of pop singers like Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato and Adele. My current influences are Soulfia, Nicki Nicole and Rosalía.

You’ve recently begun working with Austral Records to help you launch your career. How has the experience improved your work?

It has been an amazing journey so far, I have an incredible team and I have learned to manage my time better in a more organized way. Being a singer and posting on social media at the same time is harder than it seems, so having an organized schedule has been fundamental. I have also had so many new experiences with people in the musical industry, which has helped me learn how the industry works. Rudi, my music producer is also amazing and I have learned so much from him, not only about the music industry in the USA, but also as a mentor and as a friend.

You started out on YouTube vlogging about your day to day life as a personality. How did the transition from being a YouTuber to also being an artist with a full body of work come to pass?

My goal was always to be an artist. I really enjoyed posting and people seemed to enjoy it too, so that kind of just happened organically. Although I love vlogging, I´m really happy and grateful that I have the chance to be making progress into doing what I am truly passionate about, music. It hasn't been easy because people are used to my vlogging content, but thankfully a lot of new supporters are following my Spotify every day which is what I really want to share with the world. I’m really grateful, those supporters are the reason why I can even do all of this.

Congrats on releasing your album Huellas! What was the most exciting part of creating the album? What was the main inspiration leading to its creation?

Thank you so much! I loved every moment of creating this album. It will always be very special considering it´s my debut album. I honestly just love being in the studio and coming up with new ideas, then hearing them come to life. It was also cool to skip school a few times just to go to studio sessions ;) Everything in the album was inspired by stories, and this time most were things that happened to me in these past few teenage years. We took a lot of musical inspiration from Dua lipa, Adele, Billie Eilish, and Rosalía.

Who are some of the collaborators who helped you create your favorite work?

My whole team was very important in the whole process of creating the album! I would have to give a big shout out to the following people: Chicho Ramirez, Rudi Meibergen, Darryl Swann, Sergio Galindo, Fer Fuentes, María Jesús Ruíz, and my wonderful record label, Austral Records.

What are you most excited to bring to your fans in the next year?

I am SO excited for them to hear all the new music we have been making and am especially excited to start doing more live performances. I'm looking to book shows and be able to meet my fans personally!

What are your goals for this upcoming year?

To be able to perform my own music in different shows and festivals, to do a concert on my own, and releasing more music. Right now we are preparing a surprise with @antosegovia.

How can your fans best support you right now?

The best way to support my music is by Following me on Spotify, streaming my new album Huellas as much as possible and sharing it with your friends and family. Joining the newsletter and buying merch is also an incredibly helpful way to help an indie artist and there's really cute designs, my favorite is the black hoodie! Another great way to help is becoming a Patreon member which is super fun because members get exclusive content and many other benefits every week :)
